The Canyons Resort, located just over 50 km (32 miles) from Salt Lake City, and minutes from the historic downtown Park City, is Utah's largest single ski and snowboard resort. It covers an area of 3,700 acres (1,500 ha) diverse skiable terrain and includes 8 mountains with 155 trails serviced by 17 lifts.

The Powder Mountain Resort is located in Eden, 90 km (55 miles) north of Salt Lake city. It covers an area of over 5,500 acres (2,225 ha) skiable terrain and is the largest ski area in the United States. It has 135 runs over 3 mountains, serviced by a total of 7 lifts. The resort is best known for untracked powder and a high snow quality. Artificial snow is banned at this resort. Powder Mountain Resort offers skiing at all levels from beginner to expert and also offers heli-skiing, snowboarding and snowcat skiing. The resort is just 8 km (5 miles) away from Eden, where there is a great variety of accommodations, restaurants and nightlife. It is also possible to lodge at the mountain.

Deer Valley Resort is situated in Utah's Rocky Mountain Wasatch Range, just 60 km (37 miles) from Salt Lake City. The resort is spread out over four mountains and covers a total area of 2,026 acres (915 ha) with 99 runs and 20 lifts, and offers skiing for every level of skier. Deer Valley Resort is consistently rated as one of North America's top resorts offering the finest in skiing, dining, lodging and costumer service.

Snowbird Ski Resort is situated in the heart of the Wasatch National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The resort is an isolated mountain setting that is a cozy, pedestrian village within rugged surroundings. Snowbird covers 2,500 acres (1,000 ha) of skiable terrain suitable for all level of skier. There are 89 runs and 11 lifts.
